New Micro Rotary Latch Designed for Small Spaces

Southco has recently expanded its successful line of rotary latching solutions with the launch of the R4-05 Micro Rotary Latch. The newest addition to the R4 Rotary Latch series provides concealed latching and increased security without sacrificing strength or functionality, making it an ideal choice for applications with significant space limitations.

The R4-05 Micro Rotary Latch allows remote actuation rotary systems to be integrated into applications where space considerations are a major determining factor. The R4-05 Micro is 60% smaller in size than Southco’s smallest rotary latch, allowing packaging space or protrusion into the application to be significantly decreased. With its symmetric design, the R4-05 Micro can be mounted on either side of an application for infinite design possibilities.

Constructed of corrosion-resistant steel, these compact latches are available with cable or hand actuation, an integrated bumper feature that resists vibration, and single and two-stage latching to meet the needs of a variety of limited space applications in a variety of applications including Transportation, Industrial Machinery and Self Service industries. Additionally, R4 Rotary Latches can be combined with Southco’s line of mechanical and electronic actuators and cables for a complete rotary latching system.
