Southco’s has expanded its successful line of rotary latching solutions with the addition of a stainless steel version of its popular R4-30 series. Constructed of high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the R4-30 Two-Stage Rotary Latch features a two-stage design that prevents false latching conditions in heavy duty enclosure applications.

Southco’s R4 -30 Rotary Latch series can be easily concealed within an application, providing a clean exterior surface free of pry points with push-to-close convenience for doors and panels. Available in robust stainless steel, these latches provide increased strength in demanding environments, and are ideal for a broad range of industry applications including Off-Highway, Industrial Machinery and Transportation. Additionally, R4 Rotary Latches can be used as part of a complete system when combined with Southco’s line of mechanical actuators and cables.

The stainless steel R4-30 Two-Stage Rotary Latch features a robust, corrosion-resistant design, making these latches an ideal choice for applications exposed to demanding environments. The two-stage rotor is designed to hold a door or panel shut even though it may not be completely closed, with secondary action required to completely shut the door. The R4-30 series also improves aesthetics and enhances security with its concealed design.
